  • September 2016 Newsletter Have you given any thought to how emergency medical care providers know who to contact or what to do if you are in an accident? • April 2016 Newsletter Why we need this: Road trips with kids can quickly turn into feeling like a punishment for the parents rather than a vacation. • January 2016 Newsletter Dividing up your estate among offspring can be a tricky business. Remember what happened to King Lear.
  • December 2015 Newsletter When it comes to family, money, and death, it’s hard not to feel emotional. And while emotion can be a great motivator for helping us act, it can also cloud our judgment or prevent us from making decisions that are best for ourselves or our loved ones.
  • November 2015 Newsletter Do you have a family member or friend who still needs to name guardians for their children, or has a child with a disability? Help them get started on protecting their children today by inviting them to an upcoming workshop
  • Fall 2015 Edition Newsletter We had the best time at the 12th Annual Orange County Children's Book Festival. The Orange Coast College Foundation invited me to be their guest and sign copies of Good Parents Worry, Great Parents Plan. My kids completely took over my booth and were getting everyone to buy the book and join our newsletter. I've never seen such a great sales team in my life! I was so proud of them and thoroughly enjoyed watching them fight over whose customer was whose first.
  • August 2015 Newsletter We had so much fun visiting Laura's alma mater—California State University Long Beach. We spoke through the CSULB Planned Giving Department to all of the parents at Camp Nugget, which is an awesome summer camp for children with disabilities. The best part was getting a personal tour of the camp and getting to see all of the kids having a blast. It was also fun seeing the old soccer field Laura used to play on back in the day.
