Shirley Witt is the Community Outreach Director with Meier Law Firm. She is an incredible support for our senior clients and a trusted guide to the senior community. Her goal is to serve the needs of seniors with respect and dignity.
Shirley has worked in the field of gerontology for the last 20 years. She has served as the Director of Operations of a non-profit Senior Center and group including a Meals on Wheels program for South Orange County. She was in charge of daily activities for the center, managed volunteers, implemented classes, fundraising and donor management. Shirley oversaw nine sites as well as the programs at these various centers making sure they were in compliance with the Health Department, the County Office on Aging and state regulations.
While Shirley's vast experience is impressive, she shines most when she is interacting with our clients. She is an incredible comfort to them when our seniors and caregivers are feeling vulnerable or in pain. She helps them navigate the oversaturated and confusing maze of senior benefits and care.
When she is not out serving as a "super woman" in our community, Shirley enjoys spending time with her family at home in Mission Viejo. When asked what she enjoys most, Shirley says that she wants to give her time and knowledge to others as she loves to give back.
Shirley is a rock solid addition to our team and we are beyond fortunate to have her as an invaluable resource to our Elder Law practice.
